🏛️ About the Producers
Champagne Salon began with Eugène-Aimé Salon’s ambition to create a Champagne for his own enjoyment. Its first vintage, 1905, established the philosophy that still defines the cuvée: one grape variety, Chardonnay; one village, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger; and one exceptional vintage. Initially reserved for his private circle, Salon became commercially available in the 1920s. Its Blanc de Blancs draws on the one-hectare “Salon garden” and 19 other selected plots in the village.
Champagne Delamotte, founded in 1760 by François Delamotte, brings a longer history to the evening. Established in Reims and later rooted in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, the house has a longstanding affinity for Chardonnay and the Côte des Blancs.
