🌿 About Biodynamic Winemaking

Biodynamic winegrowing treats the vineyard as an interconnected, largely self-sustaining ecosystem. Building on organic practices, growers use compost, encourage biodiversity and apply specific biodynamic preparations to support their approach to soil and vine care. Some also follow lunar and celestial calendars when planning vineyard and cellar work—a traditional element of the philosophy rather than a scientifically established influence on wine quality. At its heart is an emphasis on the relationship between the land, the vines and the people tending them.
